Public House: Feels like not being here!

Public House

Well, we are headed to our awesome vacation right now, going camping! But before we have no reception of any kind, I thought I’d leave you with a recent discovery in Temecula: The Public House

Right off main street in Old Town, the Public House is seriously the first legitimately cool restaurant I’ve seen in Temecula. No joke. It’s like stepping into San Diego briefly. I instantly noticed Coldplay in the air when I walked in. “Wow” I thought, “good music… that’s weird.” And it wasn’t an accident. Good music kept happening. The vibe is cool, very urban yet comfortable and inviting. The staff is super rad, really nice people that are pleasant to talk to and even reliably funny. The food is also great. The mac and cheese is a staple, but everything’s good. I had the vegan egg plant dish special the first time I went and it seriously rocked. Want tea? Don’t expect any of that Tazo crap. Real, loose leaf fine tea from a local shop will be served. Coffee? They bring you a personal sized french press with really good coffee. (And I don’t mean Starbucks) There’s also a porch which is super chill and a great hang, especially when the weather’s nice. Plus they have a great drink selection if you’re into that.

What’s more, they’ve got a back yard section for garden dining coming with a concert stage and equally rad vibe. This is going to be the place to be soon.

So, if you live in Temecula, salvation has come and there’s a cool place to go without going to San Diego. If not (I see all you Romanian people!), come check it out if you ever visit.
