Last Saturday our awesome church had a men’s skeet shooting event and it was super fun in an uber-manly sort of way. I didn’t really grow up in a gun family (they were there and they’d come out from somewhere when my grandpa came over but that’s about it, I never shot any of them) so this was quite an experience. To be fair, I did do a lot of shooting on summer to get my rifle shooting merit badge, but that hardly counts for man points. This was shotguns out in the desert on a ranch with a bunch of dudes in the very hot sun. I’m proud to say I did hit stuff. I’m still way better at NES Duck Hunt though. (man what I’d give to have that back!)
Immediately following a miss:
I got in on the action. It’s a lot harder than Duck Hunt.
Terry’s usual style carried over into shooting: His boastful commentary was annoyingly matched with really good performance. I’m think we’re all waiting for him to get his butt handed to him at something after all his talk but it never happens.
That’s right, I hit 4 clay pigeons or skeets or whatever they are. Just don’t ask how many it was out of.

Were most of these with the 85 1.8?
P.S. sorry we never hang out while you were here this time. it ended up being a crazy week!
umm hi. great post about manly stuff. can you send me the pictures of my studly husband? i tried to just save them straight from here but they dont look right!
@Tyler a good portion of them were, but a lot were the 24 1.4 and 35 1.4 as well. Those three are kind of my power trio at the moment. @ sarah: I’m going to put them on the reliance photo site and you can download them there. Text me and I’ll give you the link
Are our Reliance men slightly scary with guns and no shirts and such? As far as Terry having his hiney handed to him, good luck with that….pretty much the only thing that’s beat him so far is a chop saw.
haha. cool. i do this every year with my dad. It’s actually trap shooting and yes…they are clay pigeons. Fun shots.
