World- welcome Everett! Wow, I cannot even begin to tell everyone what a HUGE HUGE HUGE blessing Everett is in so many people’s life. You may wonder why this baby is such a big deal (our facebooks, myspaces and twitter posts were all covered with news about him) Well here’s the brief story. Kylo and Andrea are great friends of ours- you’ve seen them all over our blog. Last year Kylo and Andrea had their first baby. Adalyn Ryan Bomstad was born on November 7th, 2007 and after complications during delivery, she went to heaven to be with Jesus. Although she lived a short life, Addy definitely made it count- and touched literally thousands of lives during her time here. Andrea became pregnant with Everett just a few, short months later. I’m sure you can imagine some of the struggles that they went through, but Kylo and Andrea hardly showed it. They always had a positive attitude and an incredible faith and hope. Zach and I deeply deeply respect and love Kylo and Andrea for their ongoing strength and faith in God during such a difficult and tumultuous time. So, as you can imagine, it’s been a LOOOONNG nine months for all of us (but mostly for Kylo and Andrea!) Everett Dean Bomstad was born November 26th, 2008, a healthy 7pound 10 ounce baby. And arriving in perfect time for THANKSgiving. And what a beautiful Thanksgiving this will be at the Bomstad household this year. God is SO good!

i went to HHS with kylo and came across his myspace page sometime before his daughter was due to be born. i would check every once in awhile to see if they had pics of their new baby. i was so sad and shocked to learn that she had died. i am a mom of two kids, and i couldn’t even imagine the kind of pain that they’ve experienced. i am so happy for them that their little boy was born healthy. God is so good, and it’s awesome to see His hand in their lives. what a blessing for their little boy to be born right before thanksgiving!
