…for getting engaged. Apparently Christmas rivals Valentines Day for most popular time to get engaged. We’ve been booking weddings like crazy! Also, we’ve been doing a lot of engagement shoots. Here’s one we just did in Pasadena. It’s actually a pretty funny story- The guy wanted to propose to his girlfriend and have us take pictures of the proposal and then do an engagement session afterward. Zach posed as a VP for a big company so we could really pull the surprise off. We had it all set up, they were going to walk up and stand right in front of the huge fountain and he’d pop down on one knee and propose immediately. Well, right when they walked up this random family comes right up to me and asks me to take their picture. Having no other option I grabbed their camera and snapped a quick picture, hoping they’d just leave, but NOOOOO. They continued for the next ten minutes to take pictures of every single person in their family in front of this stupid fountain. So we had to downshift into improvised “small talk” about Zach’s glory days attending USC and becoming a supposed VP of HR at blurb.com. Something we know absolutely NOTHING about. It was pretty hilarious, but a freakin awesome story to tell. FINALLY the family left and we assumed our positions and everything from then on out was clockwork.
