Aaron & Sarah are our dear friends from church and have already been the subject of several blogs. It all started with their wedding at Monteleone Meadows and we’ve all been friends ever since. Their story as a couple is pretty nuts: A hook-up gone wrong (or right, in hindsight) turned into a pregnancy. Aaron was out of the picture until he got into a horrible fight one night and got beaten unconscious. He spent a LONG time in a coma, his brain swelled… bad stuff, but he finally woke up and fully recovered. After he got out of the hospital he started making a lot of changes, found Jesus, ended up going back to Sarah (who was dating some one else and had already birthed and named their daughter Kaelyn) and they got married. I’m not doing it justice, but it’s a pretty crazy story of redemption that he loves to tell. Now they’re on their feet as a couple and are pregnant with their second child! So, it was time to go back to Monteleone Meadows and do a family/maternity session, since Sarah is also the last of our MANY pregnant friends to get her photos taken.

So, I was getting really excited about these birds swimming into the shot and every one else thought it was hysterical that I cared so much. But come on, that makes the shot so cool!

Following the normal-ish shots, we went to an office to do some “working mom” kind of shots since Sarah is pregnant but still working full time. They wanted some sort of fun shots to convey this time in her life, so we did these. Totally off the wall and fun, love it!
