Zach here. I’ve decided that AWESOME is in danger of growing, well, not so awesome, due to over-use by the masses. (Barney Stinson is exempt) I’m just as guilty as the next guy, but now I am aware, so I’m creating the AWESOME SAVING SQUAD, to shorten it we’ll call it the… oops, bad word choice… crap, no wait, worse, pun, AH!!! Nevermind. All that to say, I would normally go on about how ________ this engagement session was, but out of respect for the word AWESOME, I’m just going to tell you that it was really great and that Matt and Melanie are super fun! They’re a hilarious couple that we had so much fun hanging out with during this session. They even said, “Well now that we’ve got you locked down for our wedding, you should really think about raising your prices!” Just a totally fun and ________ couple! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding- we’re sure that all their friends will be just as fun as they are.
Oh, and the contest isn’t over. Ya, it may look over, but all it takes is for one person to send a mass e-mail and get a bunch of votes while the leader is sittin’ pretty and it’s a whole new game!

Dang bro! The photos are sweet! I totally agree with Katelyn on her favorite photo! You should raise your prices! How many wedding do you have booked this year? I mean how much further can you grow? I think it’s time to raise those prices! You are worth it.
Did you get your ‘awesome’ police out on your heroes?, the kaisers? They get life without parole for using ‘awesome’, ‘awesomeness’ and other variations of the heinous word.
All kidding aside, these images came out really slick, you keep making the plateau look more and more magical everytime.

Hi. First of all, I like most of your photos a lot, especially the way you process them to get that warm feeling.
On this set I have a specific question. Did you do anything at all with the light on any of the pictures, i.e using reflectors or flashes?

Thanks Erik! Nope, no reflectors or lighting stuff on this one. Just great natural light! I do use lighting and reflectors sometimes, but not this session.
