This was our first wedding at Temecula Oak Meadows. It’s a quaint, little wedding site deep in the wine country of Temecula. Courtney was one of those people with a sweet and gentle spirit about her. Her smile was contagious and she almost always had one on. On top of this, she had a totally adorable personality. It was great spending the day with her and Jimmy. Both sides of the family had a long history with the armed forces, and they were proud of it! Their wedding had a lot of military presence, including giving the mom’s camouflaged boxes of tissues, a swords ceremony, several tables displaying the family’s military history, and last but not least, a soldier hitting Courtney on the butt with a sword and saying, “Welcome to the Army” as they walked out of their ceremony. So, with that in mind, we had to do some awesome Terminator style groomsmen photos. I also included a lot more dancing photos this wedding, because this group was so much fun! It also helps change it up a bit. This wedding was the day after our last blogged wedding, then bright and early Sunday morning we got up to fly up north for Zach’s grandpa’s 80th birthday! It was a long weekend but a super fun one! We don’t typically do 2 weddings in one weekend, but occassionally we’ll make an exception. Luckily, July is a little slower for us, only 3 weddings and a few engagement shoots!
Ok, now the real one.
Courtney pulling away from Jimmy, laughing and begging him not to shove cake in her face.
Didn’t work so well
Courtney and her dad dancing during the “Father/Daughter dance”. (Her dad was so funny- during his speech he picked up one of the parting gifts, which were votives that each guest was supposed to take home with them, and told everyone to take 2 of them because if they didn’t he would have to come back and pick them up with his truck and he didn’t want to.

Jimmy ending the night with a cigar.
