Phew…we barely have time to write blogs! It’s 1:21am and my night is just getting started. Zach and I are heading up to the bay area to hang out with his sister for her birthday! We’re so excited to get a mini-vacation in the midst of our busy summer! It’ll be a nice relaxer to get us refreshed and re-inspired for the second half of our weddings! Here’s a wedding we recently shot at Wiens Family Winery in Temecula. George and Shanin are a great couple from Arizona. Not only did they meet online, but they planned their entire wedding online, too. They didn’t meet us until their engagement session and didn’t see Wiens until after they had the deposit down and the date held! Their wedding was in the midst of the random June gloom we had for a few weeks, which made for perfect light and a beautiful, dramatic sky. (It’s now extra sunny and over 100!) Since George and Shanin had a destination wedding, it was nice and intimate with only family and close friends and was small enough for dinner to be held in Wiens barrell room, which is a beautiful backdrop for a reception (albeit dark!) Hello high ISO. I will apologize in advance for the 2 duplicate photos- we just couldn’t decide whether we liked color or black and white better! Which one do you like better?
