Welcome to the BEST WEDDING EVER…ah hem, I mean, here’s a nice wedding we shot in Fullerton a few weeks ago. We’re unbelievably stoked with how these photos came out. Why? Well because right when we started shooting this random door opened right next to us and a guy in a construction hat poked his head out and said, “Hey, we’re in the process of renovating this KICK ASS theater…” Ok he didn’t say that, what he really said was, “Hey, we’re working on this theater. It was built in the 1920s. You’re welcome to come take photos in it.” To which we said, “HECK yes!” The theatre was gorgeous- a mix between what used to be a grand theater and a run down construction project. It looked like it was out of a magazine. The great thing was that Quyen, the bride, really wanted urban, cool, out of the box photos. Nothing at all green or typical. It was like all the stars aligned, or as Zach’s mom would say, “God’s just smiling on us!” We also had quite a bit of time with Jason and Quyen, which made it all the more, you guessed it, AWESOME! (This is where I will put a little plug in for getting a cool venue. Having a great venue helps your photos tremendously.) But the theater isn’t the only amazing thing from this wedding…oh no, there’s 2 more possibly equally amazing things. The first being that Jason and his groomsmen did an EPIC dance, copying the music video of the band “Ok Go” with the song “You’re a Million Ways to be Cruel.” I can’t even begin to explain the energy that was in the room when they were doing this dance. It was insane! The people at the reception freaked out. It was quite possibly the coolest thing we’ve ever seen at a wedding. No, you know what, scratch that. Coolest thing EVER!!! Ok, now for the 3rd amazing thing- our totally rad friends at Rustic Red Studios did the videography. It’s Legend…wait for it…DARY. So legendary in fact that we added it to the bottom of our blog post. Check it out. It is phenemonol. This is the 2nd wedding we’ve done with them and they’re AWESOME! If you’re looking for a videographer, your search is over. Hire these guys, seriously, just do it. Their website is here- http://rusticred.com/
And now that I’ve talked this wedding way, way up and away, let’s hope the photos don’t disappoint!

Here’s the video of the dance. I (Zach) get chills every time I watch it, I’m still dumbfounded with adoration and respect for Jason! This is peerless.

KATELYN!
You make us sound amazing, but it was all you guys! Seriously, the talent it takes to come up with so many cool ideas (and then capture them in an equally cool fashion) *completely* on the spot is just awe-inspiring.
