Album Cover Concept Portrait Session

October 26th, 2009 by Zach | 2 Comments

An artist named John Petty recently asked us to shoot an album cover based around the concept of a girl in a flowing dress running through a field, looking back. Sounded fun, so we arranged a time and place and he said he’d get a model. When we showed up to meet up with them, we were shocked to find that we were shooting an old friend of Katelyn’s, Michelle Cross! So, we proceeded to take photos with her (and her sweet mom who came along) following the concept the John had prescribed, but  some other cool photos outside of the concept came out as well.

I really enjoyed doing something so different than what we usually do, not to mention leaving all the lights at home. Thanks to Michelle for being such a trooper running around endlessly with us!
