It’s finally here! After long hours of going back and forth…and back and forth…and back and forth, we FINALLY got our new website and blog up and running! You’ve now see the new blog, head on over to the website, which is oh so conveniently located in the tabs above this post and check it out! WOO HOO!!! A big huge thanks to Greg Lutze (www.greglutze.com) for the design of the new site and branding, Daniel Murphy (www.worshiptechie.com) for the buildout of the site, and Hank Palan (www.rusticred.com) for all the help setting up all the server stuff. Ok, now on to another awesome thing- our wedding in San Francisco!We did Dan and Jaklyn’s kick butt engagement photos a few months ago, you’ll remember their gorgeous, model faces, well, we traveled up to San Francisco to take photos of their wedding at Flood Mansion. Flood Mansion is a dream wedding location. It’s absolutely stunning and honestly the pictures just don’t do it justice. It was out of this world gorgeous. This weekend was extra cool because it was fleet week in the city and there were Blue Angel Jets flying all over the city doing crazy tricks (Look for the Blue Angels below in a photo of Jaklyn, we caught them in a photo during the practice run, just before the show was canceled due to weather conditions.) Jaklyn thought of everything- this post is partially so big because I just had to include some of her incredible and creative details for all our future brides to glean from. There’s so many cute moments to share from this wedding, I decided to do it as a caption to each photo, but the one story that I have to tell here is how Dan and Jaklyn met. Jaklyn and her friend were driving down the freeway when Dan pulled up next to her. Jaklyn told her friend that the guy in the car next to them was really cute. Dan motioned to Jaklyn to give him her phone number. Her friend dared her to so she held up her fingers to give him each number in her phone number. Her friend/bridesmaid commented at the wedding that it shocked her that Jaklyn actually did this, because she was not the type of girl to do something like this normally. She met him at a Starbucks with that same friend a few weeks later for their first meeting and that brings us to today, 7 years later, their wedding. What a crazy/great story to be able to tell your kids! Congratulations Dan and Jaklyn!
