Today was our first day of being in one place all day and it was glorious. We slept in, but then hit the snow hard, tube style. (That one time I broke my arm on the bunny hill kinda scarred me for life on snowboarding. True story.) I won’t kill you with super long stories this time, I’ll let the photos do (most) of the talking.
Whistler!
I tend to wake up an hour or two before everyone else, so I had a super nice coffee/devo time.
Our hotel.
To get to the inner tubes, we had to take this gondola thing up the mountain.
...followed by a bit of a hike up a hill.
The hill we went down was super long and steep, I've never gone so fast on an inner tube. I seriously was convinced I was gonna eat it on the first run, but it was amazing! (And I didn't eat it)
Katelyn thought it'd be a great idea if I carried her up the hill. It was a steep hill. (Photo taken by Scott)
Scott took this one
...and this one
Not staged!
These are the boxes that the bobsleds were shipped to Whistler in!
