Because we live in Temecula, we get the opportunity to shoot tons of winery weddings. However, this was our first time shooting at Leonesse. Here is the wedding of Matt and Andrea- police officers that met on the job! Their wedding was on a Thursday afternoon and was a great, relaxed day. Andrea looked stunning. I adored her flower hair piece and her decor throughout the entire wedding was superb. You could tell that she spent a lot of time planning out her wedding and every little detail showed that off. Their reception was in the barrel room at Leonesse. We LOVE barrel room receptions because they’re refrigerated and cold, which keeps a photographer that’s running around all night nice and cool! When we took Matt and Andrea out into the vineyards to do some photos I noticed a giant and I mean GIANT black spider crawling in the tulle underneath Andrea’s dress as I helped her with her train. I’m terrified of spiders, but I also didn’t want to alarm Andrea by telling her there was a spider somewhere in her dress so I called Zach over to “help” me. Zach thought I was nuts as I mouthed to him to start shaking her train. He still had no idea what I was talking about but he shook it and out fell the spider. Once she got further away the groomsmen, all seeing this giant, black thing fall out of her dress, said “What the heck was that thing?!?! A giant ant?” It still gives me the creeps telling the story. Anyways, the day turned out perfectly and spider bite free! Congrats Matt and Andrea!
P.S.- We’re still accepting email applicants for our assistant position! Details in the blog below!!
